Well it's good to back to this site with you guys, I was happy to hear it made a comeback. I haven't talked with some of you guys in a while so I figured I'd post what I've been up to. For starters, I knocked a gobbler down on April 16th this year, and ended up missing a second one two weeks later. During Turkey Season my fiance and I did a lot of Trout fishing in Nelson County. We caught quite a few. Here's a two person limit plus one my cousin had caught earlier that day. I've also been doing a ton of Catfishing. I hope everyone has been doing well!

Big cats get a "muddy" taste...2 to 5 pounds I always felt tasted the best. Especially a 2-3 lb catfish done corncob style! Yum!

These catfish are out of the Potomac so I threw them all back, always do. I'm not eating anything out of that nasty river haha. But you are correct, the smaller ones taste the best. Any of those I caught wouldn't taste good at all. The one where you an see me looking down at the catfish hold him on the lip grabber, he weighed in at 42lbs. Definitely not a good eater.
