Well...yeah, they cost $700.00 Brandon but consider the cost of a real ML. Most of the ones I built and sold were between &1500.00 and $2000.00. I think Dennis Glazner is getting that for his mountain rifles if Dennis is even making them anymore. Don Stith is going to be higher for his Hawkins. If you just have to go with an inline, a modified Remington 700 is going to go for at least a grand and the Encores for $999.00 each. I can't say I'd buy anything else unless I flat couldn't afford one of the above. Savage has stopped making them again and who knows if they'll start again. Better get one if you really want it. Just a questions...Have you ever seen/held/shot a Traditions?

Just a questions...Have you ever seen/held/shot a Traditions? Yeah, a couple of them. I know they aren't a Encore but what are your thoughts? I have the Pursuit Ultra Light and have been pleased with it. Would I like to have a Encore Pro Hunter?? You bet your fanny I would

My thoughts on them are pretty simple. Without considering Traditions early guns, they are pretty well made and safe. From there it gets more complicated.
Any gun regardless of manufacturer, that is accurate is a good gun if the owner is satisfied with it. Traditions fit in that nitch. The prices have gone up over the years to the point you are clse to being able to get one of the more expensive guns, but again, if it's doing the job....why bother.
No production gun is perfect without some work or tradeoffs. Every Encore including my two, need trigger jobs, the lobes shaved on the forend and some type of tension control (O rings, Etc.) on the forend screws and a tighter hinge pin.
My ML-10 needed trigger adjustment and a trigger job.
The Traditions do need some work but are capable of shooting very well.
