was looking for a spot to hang my trail cam somewhere near where my son shot his spike during black powder when i came upon a spot that had a grove, gaggle, herd, orchard, or whatever you call a bunch of sassafras trees and sapplings. i cleaned a spot and dug a small deppresion and put a salt block down then pulled a half dozen sassafras plants up,skinned the skin off the roots and hung some up in the surounding trees and rubbed some of the roots and oils on the salt block,we'll see if it does any good as a natural attractant,im betting it will help a little, when i left the woods that whole place smelled like root beer

Was it near the same spot we found Sassafras last summer? Wasn't that the same spot of the crazy run in circles for 30 minutes doe? LOL
