i was wondering how many of you guys use grunt tubes and also how many try rattling? i carry a grunt tube but seldom use it, only when i'm getting bored. Tried rattling a few times but never bought anything in.

I have used my grunt tube alot lately and the deer aint paid no attention to it! I have seen more deer when not using itthen I do when I try it.
I have had deer walk by out of range and not see me and ill try and they dont even look back half the time.

Don't know dude, I had the bleat work like a charm that first week, tried rattleing again last Saturday and only got Turkeys coming in. Have had grunt calls work and not work! I guess it depends on thier mood.

i have never rattled
I have however used grunt calls with mixed success, i have stopped MANY deer in their tracks with a grunt call, i think sometimes it peaks their interedt a little even after jumping them out. I have only called in one deer with a grunt call and that was year before last, i didn't kill him cause i let him sneak up behind me and when i went to turn and shoot spooked him. But dad killed the same blame deer a few days later by the same method, calling him in with a grunt tube the deer had a 18.5 inch spread but like esvahunter said sometimes the deer [ay attention to it and sometimes they act like their deaf and don't hear a thing, just depends on their mood
