was talkin to my dad last night . he was sayin if you hit a deer and ya can't find blood , lay on your belly flat on the ground and look in the direction the deer ran .he said you'll see where the leaves got stirred up . go to that spot and do the same again and then again until you find blood or the deer . he stated that he tracked a deer 150 yards that way once .

thats pretty crazy haha anything to find one though... just dont know if i would do that one if i was in elderly company.. one to try by yourself haha ... def would try it though and to bring up good conversation.. see how it works though.. eye level.

i think if you have a really tough track... the biggest thing that screws us i believe is to NEVER WALK FORWARD AND GUESS WHERE ITS GOING IF YOU DONT KNOW ITS DOWN
shew we lost one this year that i believe we would of found because my buddy trampled all down the path without finding the next blood splotch.. definetly dissapointing

Your right , I think two people tracking works best , one to stay at the last spot of blood and one to find the next . Patience is the key , everybody wants to rush to find the deer . it's hard to hold back cause your excited , we got to remember not to rush forward .

Heres a good trackin tip-take your girlfriend and let her bloodtrail it. Mine has more patience than me and she loves that part of the hunt.lol
