My river gets some unreal flooding because it narrows down and has high banks.
I did a time lapse to catch the wave of water that hits, then goes away just as quickly. Bad place to be standing during a storm.
The bank in the picture is over 30 feet high.

That is pretty neat that you made a video. What period of time did all of that take place?

I do a lot of timelapses Brandon. That was a low res 6 month video taking a picture every 15 minutes.
The flood was recent (last week) and I snipped a two hour section to show...so about two hours.

Just to give an idea of the debris that's cycled through that little river, I was down there yesterday watching how the bears reacted to all the noise the Ciciadas were making...and took this picture. None of that, including the overhead log, were there two weeks ago and they'll be gone after the next storm.
